The Lake City Education Foundation is thrilled to offer a peer-nominated award called 813 Pride.
This annual cash award is made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor who wants our educators and school district employees to know they are valued!
This $500 cash award is provided to three individuals who are nominated by their peers. Awards are given to one teacher at Bluff View Elementary, one teacher at Lincoln High School, and one school district employee (non-teaching position).
Ideal nominees demonstrate excellence inside and outside of the classroom and go above and beyond their responsibilities. Bluff View staff nominate Bluff View staff and Lincoln staff nominate Lincoln staff. Submit nominations by April 14, 2023.
A selection committee comprised of former educators, community members, and LCEF representatives will conduct a blind review (names/identifying information will be removed) of the nominations and make their recommendations.
The annual 813 Pride awards will be presented during the final all-staff meeting in May.
